The Sword Columbia Concert reviews
Richard Marx & String Orchestra were fantastic
The number 2 show for me was The Sword in concert, which I have seen too many times to count. The special string orchestra really complimented The Sword's wonderful voice and songs. Balancing the old songs with the new ones, he did a good job. The set list was great, but I would have liked to hear "In this all alone." Adding some songs from the Flesh and Bone CD would have been nice, like "Breathless" with the strings.
The venue was great despite the parking situation being a pain. Good weather. The camera men did a great job with the side video screens, layering the shots in a way I liked.
